sample report generated from MS Project using msp_html.pl on Thu Feb 22 14:10:26 2007

The Perl utility msp_html.pl produces project reports based on input from MS Project 2000. To see the options, run the following command:

     perl msp_html.pl -help

The input file is created from Project by doing the following:

When you save, do "save as" and select "CSV" as the type.

Click on "Save"
Click on "New Map"
Enter "msp_due" for the name
Click on "Options" and make sure only "Tasks" is selected
For "Text file options", no checkboxes are selected Enter "|" (no quotes) for the "Text delimeter"
Click on "Task Mapping"
The "From", "To" and "Data Type" should all be selected as follows

Click on "Save"

From now on, you can just select "msp_due" as the map when saving as "CSV".
